As you know, many people helped in our Project. We had a small ceremony in CEP Santa Rosa to thank all the Peruvian people who helped us, supported us, and contributed in some way. Our most sincere thanks on behalf of the entire team.

From here we’d like to thank again all the people from other parts of the world that were also part of the project: people from Spain, England, Chile, Mexico... Thank you everybody!

Amazing image that represents the amount of water available on our planet. This 3D image offers us a new perspective of the all of the Earth's water. According to the article, the amount of water in the drop includes the oceans, groundwater, atmosphere and even the water which makes up living creatures, and it would cover a space of 860 miles. It certainly is a different perspective, as we're used to seeing images of a great part of the earth covered in water!

Hello everybody!!!
We are proud to announce that we have been selected as the winners of 'Doors to Diplomacy 2012', for our project Water, the New Petrol, along with The Haiti Ocean Project.  It's a tremendous honor for us to have received this award, as all of the projects were spectacular. We would like to congratulate all the other winners, especially the members of The Haiti Ocean Project.

Our aim is to reach as many people as possible, and thanks to this prize, hopefully we will. Thanks to our work on this project we have become aware of the great problem of water shortage in the world, and we believe that if we all work together, we can make things change. These past months have been a complete eye opener for us: we hope our project will help to raise awareness and maybe change things for the better. On our website you will find, as well as all the information we've gathered, researched and compiled, a lot of material we created from scratch: comics, interactive maps, videos, interviews, real stories...

Soon the page will also be available in Spanish (the original language it was written in) and we are hoping to translate it into catalan over the summer.

We don't know how to thank all the people involved in the project, and in our bibliography you will also find the references to the amazing photos we used and the Websites were we learnt about water shortage.  Thank you to you all as well!

We  hope this is just the beginning of our project, as we hope to keep working on it for a long time. Any comments, ideas or contributions will be more than welcome.

We would also like to thank all our friends, family, pets, school colleagues and teachers for their patience and support during these last months.

And last, but not least, we'd like to thank Yvonne Andres and team at and the US Department of State for giving us the opportunity to work on such an amazing project, and to bestow upon us the honor of this prize, allowing us an even greater reach in making people aware of water shortage and the need for cooperation between countries through diplomacy to address this issue.
